Terms of Service & Payment Conditions

  1. Payment will only be accepted through PayPal.

  2. All payments will be made in full before rendering will begin, unless another arrangement has been discussed and agreed upon with the artist.  Short payment plans are acceptable, but work will only begin once half of the payment is made.

  3. The client must present a clear visual reference, or references, of their character(s). If their character(s) have no existing visual reference, then the client may give a clear written description of them and give visual references that will aid in the design of their character(s).

  4. The client must present their desired pose, expression, and idea up front (if any).

  5. Alterations to a commission may only be made during the sketching stage, besides minor edits to markings or colors.  Preview sketches will always be sent to fix any possible errors before completion, unless requested otherwise.  Further progress images may be requested, but are not assumed to be necessary.

  6. The artist is not obligated to accept edit requests and may reject them for any reason.  (NOTE: This almost never happens, and only in extremely specific situations: if the commissioner changes the character design during the commission, or decides that they want a completely different commission than what they initially asked for, etc...)

  7. Refunds of 50% may be issued for commissions if the preview sketch is not approved (unapproved sketches will not be reused by the artist).  If the preview sketch has been approved and lining or coloring has begun, refunds will not be issued unless it is at the artist's discretion.  As long as the artwork has not been started, refunds can be issued in full for any commission type. (Note: Do not force these through PayPal. Please contact me first.)

  8. Individuals who attempt PayPal chargebacks or forced refunds will be permanently blacklisted, and any completed artwork may be recycled (such as in the form of a YCH), and the individual will no longer have permission to repost or use the artwork in any way.

  9. The artist will complete commissions in sequential order on the queue.  The artist may work ahead on following commissions only while waiting for previous clients to respond to proofs.

  10. The client understands that what they are receiving is a digital good and will not be shipped to them, unless the artist specifies otherwise in the PayPal invoice description.

  11. The artist will not sell prints or any other merchandise to the public using a commissioned piece without the client's permission.

  12. The client may repost commissioned work to their own website or gallery, giving proper credit to the artist.  The client may not claim the artwork as their own creation.

  13. The client on the waiting list will be contacted only when their name has reached the head of the list or at the artist's descretion, and not before.

  14. The client agrees that, should they not order a commission or reply within 72 hours to a commission inquiry when they have reached the head of the waiting list, they will be moved to the bottom of the list.

  15. The client understands that after failing to reply to a commission inquiry three times, they will be removed from the waiting list.

  16. The Client must read, understand and agree to all the above terms before entering into an agreement with the Artist. By sending payment, the Client agrees to the above terms.
